At The Bishop Ford Relays at St. John's University, La Salle met stiff competition from both C.H.S.A.A. and Public schools Furthermore, with key injuries to Varsity member s Chingiz Musayev, Brian Inzeo and Robert Archempong, other La Salle athletes had to step up. Varsity Jumpers David Tarver and Corey Simmons combined with 77ft. 2 inches and placed 5th in the Triple Jump.

The Freshman still continue to dominate their competition. High Jumpers Marcus Smith and Sean Gilmore placed 1st with a combined jump of 10ft. 8 inches. FLYING BRICKS Ceasar Vargas and Jude Monestime placed 1st with a combined throw of 81ft. 11 inches.

The Runners had to fight off a field of more than 20 schools to place in the top five of both entered relays. Angel Alsina, Patrick Augustine, Anthony DiGiovanni and Carlos Rivera placed 4th in the 3200 meter relay. Later combined with Corey Simmons, Patrick Agustine, Angel Alsina, and Carlos Rivera placed 3rd in the Distance Medley Relay. Next week La Salle faces off against 40 other schools at the Hornet Relays at Midwood field in Brooklyn.
