
"The High Milers" Bryant Cherry-Woode had a great day. He placed 1st in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10"37.5 and came back to place 4th in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:59.9. Carlos Rivera also ran the 3200 meter run and placed 3rd with a time of 10:44.2. Andrew Aponte, Angel Alsina and Luis Perez had a fair day.
"The Flight Academy" Without Spikes the Jump team could not get proper grip and sufficent traction. However, although fustrated the team perservered. Sean Baum placed 2nd in the High Jump with a jump of 5'8"; He also placed 2nd in the 55 meter Hurdles *N.S, with a time of 8.2 seconds. Joseph Cruz Scissor Kick Phyco placed 4th in the High Jump with a jump of 5'6". We will never mention what happened in the 55 Meter Hurdles.*N.S. Robert Achempong placed 3rd in the Triple Jump with a jump of 40' 4.7.5". David Tarver and Corey Simmons just couldn't get started. Nicholas Navarro and Chingiz Musayev were a little out of their league in the 300 meter run, but did what they could, that's all were asking. *N.S. = No Spikes
"The Flying Bricks" The Throwers showed their age today but still threw with effort and determination. Israel Vazquez and Jude Monestime are sure to bounce back.

"The Flight Academy" The jumpers had a great day! The Triple Jump Squad placed 1, 2, 3, and 4th. Rene Pierre placed 1st in the Triple Jump with a jump or 38'1" and also placed 2nd in the 55 meter Hurdles with a time of 9.0 seconds. Evan Hairston placed 1st in the 55 meter Hurdles with a time of 8.8 seconds; and also placed 2nd in the Triple Jump with a jump of 37' 8". Keith Rodriguez placed 1st in the High Jump and set a new meet record with a jump of 5'4". He also came back to place 3rd in the 55 meter Hurdles with a time if 9.3 seconds. Marvin Alneus placed 3rd in the Triple Jump with a jump of 34'8" and placed 5th with a High Jump of 4'8". Hector Herrera placed4th in the Triple Jump with a jump of 33'6"; and helped out in the 1600 meter relay. Christopher Ortega placed 6th in the Triple Jump with a jump of 29'5"; and helped out in the 1600 meter relay. Johnathan Bravo placed 3rd with a High Jump of 5'0"; and threw 35' in the Shot-Put.
