Today the Track and Field team had a great day at the Fordham University Ram Relays.
The Flying Bricks Led by Israel Vazquez and Jude Monestime placed 5th in the Varsity Shot-Put with a combined throw of 74.5. (Israel Vazquez 37.8, Jude Monestime 36.9) Also, Eltion Alaij and freshman Robert Robert McCullough threw their personal best in the Shot-Put. Eltion threw 31.5ft. and Robert threw 31.3.
The High Milers and the Flight Academy teamed up for the Sophmore Sprint Medley Relay. Combined Patrick Augustine, Corey Simmons, Joseph Cruz, and Carlos Rivera placed 5th out of 35 schools with a time of 4:04:4.
The Freshman runners, Yeffry Vega, Christopher Soto, Alvin Rodriguez and John Cormican, ran the Freshman Distance Medley Relay. They placed 2nd in a heated race against 35 league teams.
