VARSITY
THE FLIGHT ACADEMY had a great day smashing competitors in the jumping events. Juniors Nicohlas Navarro and Brian Inzeo struck GOLD with a combined Long Jump of 37ft., smacking the second-place finishers by three feet. Sophomores Robert Archempong and Corey Simmons also tasted the GOLD-RUSH placing first in the Triple Jump with a combined jump of 78ft 8inches. In The High Jump Marcus Smith Placed 3rd with a jump of 5ft. 6 in.
THE HIGH MILERS Angel Alsina, Patrick Augustine, Anthony DiGiovanni, and Caorlos Rivera placed third in the 3200 meter relay. Later with the addition of Corey Simmons, Patrick, Carlos, and Angel laid waste to the competition in the 1600 meter relay, capturing first and leading all competitors by four seconds.
Sean(Air Show)Baum combined with Joseph Cruz and Brian Inzeo in the 3 Man Shuttle Hurdle Relay, placing fourth with a time of 26.3 seconds.
THE FLYING BRICKS had a fair day. Jude Mondestime and Israel Vasquez threw for a combined throw of 66ft. Once again The Track and Field Team proved to be more than enough for the competition. For other Track and Field results log on to www.armorytrack.com.
