December 9, 2000 168th Street Armory
The Team had an exceptional day.
Varsity
The "Flight Academy" showed up with determination and focus. Robert Acheampong (40'5")and David Tarver (38'1.75") teamed up for a 1st place finish in the Varsity Triple Jump ( 78'6.75").
Nicholas Navarro (18 and Robert Acheampong (19'5") teamed up for a 3rd place finish in the Varsity Long Jump of
Sophmores Joseph Cruz (10'6") and Ariel Pastoriza (9'0") had a competative day in the Varsity Pole Vault.
Bryant Cherry-Woode placed 4th place finish in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:36.7.

"The High Milers" ran well placing 5th in the Sophmore 3200 meter relay. Runners Angel Alsina, Patrick Augustine, Luis Perez and Carlos Rivera team up and ran a smart race.
Freshmen
Well a new generation of La Salle athletes competed for the first time today. The new additions to "The Flight Academy" Keith Rodriguez and Rene' Pierre ran great races in the freshman 55 meter High Hurdles. Keith (10.4) placed 2nd and Rene (10.6) placed4th. Keith Rodriguez came back later to place 1st with a 5'6" High Jump. Alexander Herrea and Bernardo Millette jumped 4'8" and Johnathan Bravo jumped 4'6".
"The Flying Bricks" have some fresh faces in their ranks. Robert McCullach (39'0.5") and Johnathan Bravo (35'0") teamed up for a 1st place finish in the Shot-Put (74'5.0"). Plus, Jason Quionnes and James French teamed up for a 4th place finish of 70"10"
The Freshmen "High Milers" ran a competative race today. Alvin , Rene Pierre, Chris Soto and John Cormician placed 3rd in the Distance Medely Relay with a time of 9:15.
